What does the $149 Site Assessment include, and is it credited toward the job?
It’s a full roof-to-foundation diagnostic: a structural audit of your roofline, fascia, soffits, chimney, and crawlspace, plus a thermal imaging scan to pinpoint active nesting without drilling into anything. If you move forward with exclusion work, 100% of the $149 is credited toward your total project balance.

Why choose structural exclusion instead of traditional pest control?
Traditional pest control companies make money on repeat visits: trap an animal, charge a fee, and come back when the next one moves in through the same open gap. Exclusion fixes the actual entry point once, permanently, so there’s nothing left to keep paying for.
Do you use poisons or kill-traps?
No. We don’t use poisons, chemical baits, or kill-traps anywhere in our process. Every job relies on humane eviction methods, one-way doors, hand removal of nesting young, and structural sealing, never lethal control.
What is the 1-Year Guarantee?
Every structural sealing project we complete is backed by a 1-Year Guarantee against wildlife re-entry. If an animal breaches one of our sealed entry points within a year, we return and repair it at no cost to you.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Our team operates under a North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission Wildlife Control Agent license, and we carry commercial general liability insurance covering structural repair and high-elevation roofline work.
How does payment work for larger exclusion projects?
After your assessment, we provide a custom estimate broken down by the actual work involved, decontamination, structural barriers, one-way devices. A 50% deposit locks the project onto our schedule, and the remaining 50% is billed on completion.
What if I have bats and it’s May, June, or July?
North Carolina law prohibits active bat exclusions from May 1 through July 31 to protect flightless pups. If you find bats during that window, we seal off interior pathways to your living space for safety and return August 1st to install the permanent exclusion.
Will the animal be relocated, or does it have to stay on the property?
It depends on the species. North Carolina law requires rabies vector species like raccoons and skunks to be released on-site rather than relocated. Opossums and most non-listed snake species can be relocated with landowner permission. We follow whatever the law requires for each species, every time.
What should I do if I hear noises in my attic or crawlspace?
Schedule an assessment before doing anything else. Trying to seal an entry point yourself while an animal is still inside often traps it in your walls, which creates a much bigger problem than the one you started with.
Do you handle mice or rats?
Not currently. Our services are focused on the wildlife species listed on our site, bats, raccoons, skunks, squirrels and flying squirrels, opossums, groundhogs, chipmunks, foxes, chimney swifts, snakes, and honey bees, plus attic restoration. General rodent control isn’t something we offer at this time.
What if I’m bitten or scratched during an inspection?
Contact your county health department right away for guidance, regardless of which species was involved. Our technicians follow standard PPE and safety protocols on every job specifically to minimize that risk in the first place.
Do you work with homeowners insurance for damage claims?
Often, yes, when the damage traces back to nesting wildlife. We document every job with detailed photographic reports so you have what you need to coordinate with your adjuster.
